Vehicle air-con systems benefit from year round use to ensure the gas/oil combination is regularly run through the system as an internal lubricant. The other benefit of turning the air-con on during demisting is that it will speed up the efficiency of window clearing. So turn on the heater and switch on the air-con at the same time during cooler weather.
